One of the many goals of the ChronoTrack System is to simplify the timing process for athletes. A disposable tag eliminates the need for several organizational choke points that allow the athletes to spend more time focusing on their competition!

ChronoTrack System, Inc. is a timing and tracking company that has developed a cost-effective system for timing athletic events including road races using commercially available, EPCglobal-certified, UHF RFID tags and readers.ChronoTrack System has developed the disposable “D” Tag, an all-weather design for attaching an EPCglobal-certified, commercially available RFID tag to the foot. ChronoTrack, in concert with its strategic partner, Impinj, Inc., has designed custom UHF RFID controllers and antennas that specifically read “D” Tags in a racing environment. ChronoTrack offers full-service race timing packages including internationally certified race timers, bibs, tags and race timing equipment. ChronoTrack also markets its “D” Tag and timing equipment through its US and international partner network.

The ChronoTrack System allows event organizers to focus their energy elsewhere, not only on the days leading up to an event but also on race day. Since the D-tag can be attached to a race bib the additional effort and organizational needs to distribute thousands of timing devices disappears. The ChronoTrack Systems utilizes the disposable D-tag relieving the headache of collecting timing devices as well. All this leads event organizers to having additional volunteers and energy to be used where they are needed instead of focusing on the demands of a complicated timing system.

The ChronoTrack System is not only easier, but it is also more cost effective. The tag cost has been significantly reduced to the point where they can be disposed of after a race while preserving the quality and accuracy needed for a timing system.
